Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences was given a status of Deemed University from 29th September, 2003 by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India on the advise of UGC under section (3) of UGC Act 1956 vide their notification No. F-9-11/2000-U.3.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICET-ASPG 2012) to be conducted by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni for selection of students to M.P.Th {Master of Physiotherapy} and M.Sc Nursing{Bachelor of Nursing} course run by the constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences , Loni .
The respective Colleges are recognized by U.G.C (University Grants Commission) & Respective Council for both Undergradaute and post graduate courses.
Candidates who have appeared for and are expecting results of the respective final qualifying examinations can also appear for the Entrance Test.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (DU), Loni invites applications for Ph.D. Programme for academic year 2012-13. The application forms in prescribed format will be available at Account Section, Loni on the payment of Rs. 500/- from 16th June 2012 to 30th June 2012.

The student will be admitted to Ph.D. programes in Medical, Dental and Allied Health Science Faculties (Medicine, Dental Sciences, Biotechnology, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy and Bioscience Management, Social Medicine etc.). Interdisciplinary research will be encouraged in above disciplines. Deserving students may get scholorship.

Admissions shall be done on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by PIMS and Interview.

Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences was given a status of Deemed University from 29th September, 2003 by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India on the advise of UGC under section (3) of UGC Act 1956 vide their notification No. F-9-11/2000-U.3.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for All India Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICET-PG-II 2012) for selection of candidates for admission to Postgraduate Courses in Medicine (MD/MS) for the academic year 2012-13 in the Rural Medical colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) for increased seats.
The Rural Medical Colleges is recognized by U.G.C (University Grants Commission) / M.C.I. (Medical Council of India) for both Undergradaute and post graduate courses.

Center of Examination :

The AICET Examination will be conducted in following cities.

• Loni - Dist:Ahmednagar Maharashtra

University reserves the right to change or cancel any Test Center. In such a case concerned candidates will be informed accordingly.

The address of examination center assigned to candidate will be given in Hall Ticket . No request for change of center mentioned in application form shall be entertained.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing the Entrance Test. :

• Candidate seeking admission to postgraduate Medicine course should hold MBBS degree of recognized University by MCI .
• A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 30 April, 2012 can appear for PIMS-AICET-PG-II 2012 .
• All such candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the manual application form, failing which the application shall be rejected.
• A candidate should have obtained permanent registration with MCIor any state council. If candidate does not have such registration , he should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission.
• Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing/completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree, are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG-II 2012.
• Candidates previously admitted to PG degree course and resigned/left the seat are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG-II 2011 .
• Candidates who have completed Medicine postgraduate diploma course or would be completing by 31.03.2012 will be eligible for PIMS-AICET-PG-II 2012 for admission to Medicine postgraduate degree in the same subject only.
